Poniedziałek przyniesie nam niebo pełne chmur, choć w wielu miejscach możemy liczyć na chwile ze słońcem. Synoptycy prognozują jednak wyraźne zróżnicowanie temperatury w poszczególnych częściach kraju. Najbardziej upalnie zrobi się na krańcach południowo-wschodnich, gdzie termometry mogą pokazać nawet 30 stopni Celsjusza. W centrum kraju odnotujemy około 25 stopni Celsjusza, natomiast najchłodniej będzie na północy i zachodzie - tam od 22 do 24 stopni Celsjusza. Mieszkańcy terenów podgórskich Sudetów muszą przygotować się na zaledwie 20 stopni Celsjusza.

Burze, grad i silny wiatr. Nadchodzą ulewy

Spokojne chwile szybko miną za sprawą frontu deszczowego. W wielu regionach prognozowane są przelotne opady deszczu oraz lokalne burze. Szczególnie niebezpiecznie będzie na południowym wschodzie Polski, gdzie zjawiskom tym towarzyszyć mogą opady gradu.

• Suma opadów: Miejscami spadnie do 15 mm wody, a na południowym wschodzie kraju sumy te mogą lokalnie sięgnąć nawet 20 mm.
• Porywy wiatru: Na co dzień wiatr z kierunków południowo-zachodnich będzie słaby lub umiarkowany. Sytuacja zmieni się diametralnie w trakcie burz. Wtedy wiatr może osiągać w porywach od 65 km/h do nawet 80 km/h na południowym wschodzie. Z kolei wysoko w Sudetach porywy mogą dochodzić aż do 90 km/h.

Instytut Meteorologii i Gospodarki Wodnej planuje wydać oficjalne ostrzeżenia dla mieszkańców kilku regionów. Alerty przed niebezpiecznymi burzami mogą obowiązywać w województwach:

• śląskim,
• małopolskim,
• świętokrzyskim,
• podkarpackim,
• lubelskim (szczególnie w powiatach południowych).

Dodatkowo dla województw podkarpackiego oraz lubelskiego prognozowane są alerty pierwszego stopnia przed afrykańskim upałem.

While some regions of the country will see temperatures as high as 30 degrees Celsius in the shade, others will experience devastating storms with hail and wind gusts of up to 80 km/h. Monday will bring cloudy skies, although we can expect sunny spells in many places. However, forecasters predict significant temperature differences across the country. The hottest temperatures will be in the southeastern regions, where thermometers could reach up to 30 degrees Celsius. Temperatures in the center of the country will reach around 25 degrees Celsius, while the coldest will be in the north and west, with temperatures ranging from 22 to 24 degrees Celsius. Residents of the foothills of the Sudetes should prepare for temperatures as low as 20 degrees Celsius.

Storms, hail, and strong winds. Downpours are coming.

The calm moments will quickly pass thanks to a rain front. Scattered showers and local thunderstorms are forecast for many regions. Southeastern Poland will be particularly dangerous, where these phenomena may be accompanied by hail.

• Precipitation totals: Up to 15 mm of rain will fall in some areas, and in the southeast, these totals could reach up to 20 mm in some areas.
• Wind gusts: Winds from the southwest will be light to moderate throughout the day. The situation will change dramatically during storms. Wind gusts could reach from 65 km/h to as much as 80 km/h in the southeast. High in the Sudetes, gusts could reach up to 90 km/h.

The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management plans to issue official warnings for residents of several regions. Dangerous storm alerts may be in effect in the following voivodeships:

• Silesia, Lesser Poland, Świętokrzyskie, Podkarpackie, and Lublin (especially in the southern counties).
• In addition, first-level warnings for African heat are forecast for the Podkarpackie and Lublin voivodeships.

Wind gusts during overnight storms will reach up to 65 km/h, reaching up to 60 km/h in the Carpathians, and up to 70 km/h in the Sudetes. A zonal circulation system approaching from the Atlantic will ensure that the beginning of September will be marked by variable, windy, and rainy weather, especially in northern Poland.
